How does it work?

Same bill, every month

You pay the same amount — the Protergia Picasso Small 29.99 monthly fee — for the entire duration of your contract. Final settlement is done at the end of the contract.

All energy charges in one package

Picasso packages include all electricity charges: both supply charges and regulated charges. Charges to third parties are not included.

Settlement for lower consumption

If you consume less electricity than what your package covers, the difference is credited at the end of your contract during the final settlement.

Settlement for higher consumption

If you consume more electricity than your package allows, and your usage exceeds the next Picasso package level, we’ll move you to the new reference package. We offer you up to 5% of your final package’s consumption for free. For any excess consumption beyond the 5%, you are charged at a fixed rate per kWh. You can pay off the difference in up to 12 installments, offering you flexibility.

FAQs

FAQs

The Protergia Picasso Small 29.99 is the ideal electricity package for a student home at €29.99/month, offering a fixed monthly bill for one year.

Students who choose this plan receive 2 free months, meaning a €29.99 credit on their bill twice during the 12-month contract — specifically, in the 11th and 12th months of consumption under the promotional offer.

Only students who meet all the following criteria can enroll:

A. Student at a Greek institution of higher education

B. Over 18 years old and legally residing in Greece

C. Enrolled in one of the following:

  • AEI/TEI (Universities/Technical Institutions)
  • Ecclesiastical Schools
  • Military and Police Academies
  • Merchant Marine Academies, Coast Guard Schools, Fire Academy
  • Hellenic Open University
  • Public or Private IEK & Universities operating legally under Law 4093/2012 and related regulations

D. At the beginning of the contract, the customer must select Protergia Picasso Small 29.99 as the chosen consumption package.

The contract will be activated under the student’s name, and to verify student status, one (1) of the following documents must be submitted:

  • Valid student ID (pass)
  • Certificate of studies or proof of enrollment
  • Certificate of admission to university (for first-year students)
  • Confirmation of attendance from the relevant school

To sign the contract under the parent’s or guardian’s name, a Student Consent Statement is required, allowing the parent/guardian to forward the student status document to Protergia.

Each student is entitled to use the Picasso Student promotional offer for only one active electricity supply.

With Protergia Picasso, Protergia is reshaping the electricity market, giving consumers complete control over their budget by paying a fixed monthly amount for their electricity bill—for a full year.
It redefines everything we knew until now by moving away from per-kilowatt-hour billing and introducing the concept of a flat monthly bill.

We simplify energy and give true meaning to "stability" in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand.

As the ultimate fixed-rate electricity solution, the plan belongs to the blue / fixed-rate tariff category.

The plans include all supply and regulated charges (e.g., charges from IPTO and HEDNO), covering all energy-related costs on your bill. Prices start at €29.99/month for residential connections.

Each month, customers receive a fixed monthly bill. Regardless of any fluctuations in their consumption, they will consistently pay the price of the Picasso package they have selected. Finally, on the 12th bill of the year, once we receive the consumption data from DEDDIE (the Greek electricity distribution operator), a final settlement will be made to either charge or credit any difference.

Obviously, we don't expect our customers to calculate their annual consumption with absolute precision. That's why if they exceed their agreed annual consumption by up to 5%, Protergia offers the excess energy for free. For consumption above that 5%, customers will pay the difference proportionally according to the pricing package applicable to them at the end of the 12-month period.

When we receive the final meter readings from DEDDIE at the end of the contract, we will charge less by crediting the amount to the customer’s next bill. The credit amount will also be calculated proportionally based on the lower pricing package that corresponds to the actual consumption at the end of the year.

Customers don’t need to worry—we handle everything. Protergia will continue calculating and paying the appropriate amounts to the grid operators as always.

Charges to municipalities (e.g., municipal fees and taxes) are not related to energy, are usually stable, and do not vary with electricity consumption. That’s why we’ve left them out—customers will be billed for them as with any regular energy plan, and we will forward these charges to the respective municipality and to ERT.

Yes! Customers can switch to a Picasso plan without any early termination penalty.

While we don’t see why anyone would want to leave the most transparent and innovative plan in the market—yes, early termination is possible. It will be subject to a proportional early termination fee and a final settlement.
