* In each reconciliation bill to be issued, provided that: (i) there are certified measurement readings by HEDNO (Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator), and (ii) the consumption of the supply account number is less than the corresponding period of the previous year, in number of kilowatt-hours (kWh), then the difference in kilowatt-hours (kWh) will be multiplied by the supply charge, net of any government or other subsidy; and the effect of the amount in EUR (€) will be added to your account as a credit. The cap on discount is set at €60/year after deduction of government or any other subsidy/discount.
The consumption of the period of the previous year shall be calculated on the basis of historical consumption data held by Protergia, and/or historical consumption data sent by HEDNO (Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator) to Protergia, and/or on the basis of average consumption of supply account numbers with similar electrical characteristics (in case historical consumption data are not available).
** Pursuant to article 138, Law 4951/2022, for the consumption of the period from 01.08.2022 until 01.10.2023 (as possibly extended or reduced by a recent regulation), the fixed electricity supply tariffs and charges are to be reported on a monthly basis, until the 20th day of the month preceding the month of application. For the period outside the suspension of the adjustment clause, pursuant to article 138, L.4951/2022, the calculation of the Variable Pricing of Power Supply is based on the Weighted Market Price each month of the consumption period in €/MWh.

Charges
The cost of a competitive arm includes energy supply as part of Daily Energy Planning, the charges for the incremental bills (Bill 2, Bill 3), the charges for losses of the Greek electricity distribution grid, the charge based on weighted variable cost of thermal conventional power stations (Special Account Charge under Article 143 L.4001/2011), the charging of charge representatives for the Subaccount of Electricity Market of the Special Account of R.E.S and High Performance Electricity and Heat Co-generation Station of the Interconnected System and Grid (Article 23 L. 4414/2016) and the costs of the Sufficient Power Guarantee Mechanism, as defined in the Code of Electricity Transactions (decision by RAE 56/2012, Government Gazette B 104/2012), and laid down in the applicable legislation.
Competitive charges outside the Suspension period

With Protergia Energy Save scheme you will continue not to be charged an adjustment clause even after the lapse of the suspension period referred to in Article 138, L.4951/2022. For the period outside the suspension of the adjustment clause, pursuant to article 138, L.4951/2022, the calculation of the Variable Pricing of Power Supply is based on the Weighted Market Price each month of the consumption period in €/MWh.
